3. Terra-Cotta / Brand Identity, Video Production
Final project for MA in Fashion Art Direction, 2021.Brief: to create a magazine start-up with the outcome being the production of a physical book containing detailed research, 2 editorials, and a video. This was a group project between myself and 3 other colleagues.
The idea of on common ground (the subtitle of Terra-cotta) came to the group, during our first meeting in the development phase. We wanted to create a magazine that wasn’t limited to just fashion or art. We would rather propose a theme or topic per issue that would then be disected through contributors (from any field that could apply) that would offer their perspective on said topic. Alongside editorials, videos, interviews, or essays. The end product: a complete perspective on each of the topics.
For our first issue we chose the topic of stillness. Something all four of us thought was not only relevant during that period in 2021, but also something we all connect to on a deeper level at the time.
My main contributions included: the final selection of the cover, co-art direction for one of editorials, and the creation, editing and direction of the video.
The project received high praise from the team of Vogue Italia, Vogue Talents.
